Basic Rules

Aramyth uses Two twelve-sided dice (2d12) to determine outcomes while in game. The dice are rolled anytime a character attempts a challenge role (CR). Your stats modify the CR and are determined by a point system.

Players create a character by filling out a character sheet which we will talk about next.

The following guide will layout character creation

Step 0: Download and print the character sheet from the above link.

Step1: Read through the species section and select one that appeals to you, or fits your existing character concept.

The initial release here contains 14 species and will be followed up with additional species as we progress through the campaigns. Species count so far is in excess of 60.

Step 2: Choose a Vocation, and write your Backstory.

A vocation in Aramyth is basically the job you trained in before you started your adventuring life. Vocations give you a starting skill package. As you level and develop your character you can gain more skills.

Step 3: Assign your character's stat and skill points.
There are three primary stats that effect play in specific areas
Physical

  • Strength
  • Agility
  • Endurance

Mental

  • Intelligence
  • Wit
  • Insight

Spiritual

  • Faith
  • Willpower
  • Vitality
